American Airline status has become much more difficult to acquire since revamp. However with some hacks and grinding you will be able to use its many perks with JetBlue flights. Since JetBlue has gotten rid of their carry-on for Basic Blue flights. I have been avoiding JetBlue flights especially as many people’s solution appears to be carrying on oversized “personal items'“. However, you are now able to use your AAdvantage status to make a JetBlue basic blue flight into a flight with Mosaic benefit with carry-on and all!

Your will need to add your AAdvantage info to JetBlue and book your flight through JetBlue to get these perks.

At time of check-in, AAdvantage Gold and up members will be able to upgrade to a More Space seat for free which gets rid of the no-carry on restriction. One will also be able to board with Mosaic members and check-in 1 bag minimally for free. The perks are easily worth 100 dollars per flight. Booking with JetBlue will also often yield you much more AA miles then booking with American. Talk about value!! At time of writing. The app and website still appears sluggish and it does take a couple minutes for the digital boarding pass to reflect the allowance of carry to update properly.
